Is this cam gonna help the ol' sLuG4?
Is this cam gonna help the ol' sLuG4?
Picked it up nos a few weeks back. It's a wolverine blue racer. The #'s are .443,.443 lift 290 duration 210, 212 @.050. No other mods except no cat, 160 stat. Have a 2.73 to 3.42 swap planned. So what about the cam? Is it good without head or exhaust or carb (cc) mods? Another thing . If you have 2.73's, stay the hell out of OD except over 55mph. Very improved mileage!

As mentioned, you will also want to do headers and exhaust, but the cam is very good, indeed.
As for the carb, check out the Tech Articles. There is an excellent one on performance tuning the QJet.
I can see you running high 14s by following these instructions.
