i was just wondering if theres a way to tell what my red line is on my car. i had a 305 in it and the redline was 4500. but i swapped a 350 in it. the 350 is from a 69 car.is there any way of finding it out?

Hey buddy there is a way to find out. Put it on a Dyno & it will tell you everthing.

I would keep it at about 5500 or so. it really all depends on what #'s you make power at.

Pardon my ignorance, but how can a dyno show your redline?Don't they just show where power would drop off. Wouldn't things like having a 2bolt main and 4 bolt main, type of pistons and crank play a role?, not a dyno, again just asking.
