i ran my rpo codes and look at what I found!
i just ran my rpo codes to see what my car came with, i was curiouse to see what kind of tranny I had and i came up witht his:
MD8 : TRANSMISSION, AUTO 4 SPD, THM 700 R4
GU4 : AXLE REAR, 3.08 RATIO
does this mean I have 3.08 gears instead of 2.73?? & is that a plus, does it mean i have posi or limited slip?
if so is this uncommon? let me know guys, alsowhat dpes this mean?

Yes, you have 3:08s. All auto from 84 up I believe that when it started have the 700R4. As to whether 3:08s are uncommon, I'd say more so than 2:73s, but still nothing special.
