loud boom

Hey guys. Last night I raced some guy from a light. When I took off I ripped a shot and I beat him. But then when I floored it again a loud boom came from the transmission area twice in a row and it keeps on doing it. Its like when you step on the gas it just goes boom boom and the whole shifter moves up and down and then its fine untill you let go of the gas and do it again. It feels like maybe a motor mount or a cross member, could that be it?

Broken tranny mount. They're not that expensive. Get a poly-urethane one.

Yep, I had to replace on of those awhile back in my car. Every time I would take off from a stop sign hard I would feel the trannie smacking the bottom of the car. Wasn't hard at all to replace. I replaced mine with a OEM one, but I should have probably went with a poly. OEMS have rubber connecting the 2 metal pieces and thats what ripes out.

Yeah, I looked at the tranny earlier today and it looks like theres a bolt missing on it and another one that connects to it looks like part of the driveshaft but I could be wrong. Where the bolt goes it looks silver with no rust so I figured thats whats missing.
