Need some advice on fixing a little problem.

I have got my base intake manifold off, and I been porting out the runner openings and matching them to new gaskets. But tonight I slipped a little with my Dremel tool, and made a little slice across the gasket surface. It goes across the flat surface between 2 runner openings, towards the center of the intake bottom. It is not real deep, but went completely across from the runner opening to the other side. I think it would cause a leak, even if you got the gasket down good.

How should I fix this? J-B Weld and smooth it out flat? Or maybe just use some copper high-tack gasket sealer to fill in the crack? I wasn't planning on putting high-tack around the runner ports, just maybe the coolant passages.

TIA!!

I don't think jbweld has the correct properties to work well on this application. The best solution would probably be to mill the intake a small amount on each side.. just a little would maintain the correct port locations, but I don't see why the sealer/silicone wouldn't work. If it doesn't, it isn't a big deal to pull the intake once more and have some work done to it.
