1.6rr on ZZ4 motor?
I got a ZZ4 motor and wanted to run 1.6 pro magnum rockers. The motor has LT4 springs. Anyone else running these?

Have a bud w/ZZ3 (basically the same as ZZ4), ZZ9 cam, 1.6 rollers (don't think they're Magnums, though). Not sure what springs he's using, but I doubt they're what came on the engine.
I do know he said the rockers fit w/o interference to the covers w/o modification. Other than than, I'm not sure what his setup experience does to help you know what you want to know.

GM sells the LT4 hot cam and 1.6rr as an upgrade to the ZZ4. So I would guess the stock springs would be fine.
Well NO that won't work. The ZZ4 cam has a lift of .510 on the exhaust. That would mean .544 with 1.6 rockers. I REALLY doubt the stock springs will handle that. The LT4 HOT Cam only lifts up to .525 with 1.6 rockers. Get some better springs, then you can put 1.6 rockers on it ! Or better yet, get the LT4 HOT cam and make more power too.
