ACCEL high performance Header Plugs (shorties)

Just bought a set of ACCEL High Performance Header Plugs today and was wondering if anyone has tried them. Can you tell any performance difference, or are they just easier to get to. :lala:

They are easier to get to. Everyone is gonna say "your carb isn't tuned right" but every set i have used has always ended up fouling them. In my opinion they are just plain JUNK.

I stuck with AC DELCO R45TS & i've had no problems.

Just put my accel shorties in. These things rock. Much better performance than the AC DELCO's that were in it. They didn't look in the best of shape though, believe me I am not knocking Delco's but in my opinion these perform better. THey should perform better, since they are 30 bucks a set.

You said yours are 3 years old didn't you. Got them at advanced auto that is pretty much the cheapest place around. They are the high performance header plugs right. They are a lime green color. Price must have raised.

Get rid of them. I bought them and the tips that the plug wires connect to, kept coming loose. And others have said the same.

The Accel Header plugs are expensive, cost me $25 for 8.

im running the 3/8 reach 13/16 hex-think r44-old style. because of the cylinder heads on my motor and slp's and they help access. if anyone is feeling more power from a plug change, then the set installed previously was not functioning up to par due to wear fouling etc. unless the set happens to be splitfires, they would have never functioned properly to start with.
