Valve seals

What is the simplest way to change the valve seals on a tpi. How long does it take and how hard is it. My T/A has under 80k miles does this seem too soon for seals to go????

OK I JUST did this.....it sucks...huge PITA...if you have the bar type spring compressor. The biggest PITA is the passenger side valve cover removal. Look in the back of a JCWhitney and you will see various types of spring compressors, get the type that screws on, that should work, i wish i had it. You also need a good Air Compressor with an adapter to screws into your spark plug holes, you can get that at the parts store. It keeps the valve from falling into the cylinder, forget the idea of spirling rope into the cylinder. Get a manual and it is a stright forward process. One thing i woudl reccomend is that when they say to tighten the valves up to 1 turn, do it to like 7/8, mine are JUST to tight and when the thing gets hot it sometimes likes to stall. I am writing up a tech artical on it.

Here is the rough draft

Thanks for the info. How long did it take you? Can it be done in a weekend?
