Maybe it's just me, but................
I have noticed several places on my motor, where somehthing is bolted in to the block, and they didn't want it to come loose, instead of squriting some Locktite on it, they used a bolt that was just a thread or two too long, so that the bottom thread gets scrunched at the bottom of the hole.
I found four of these on the accesory mounts and sheared the head off of a T-stat bolt. I think I broke my finger when the wrench popped loose and I punched the intake plenum. Ouch.
It's a good thing I bought that tap & die set, but I need some new EZ-Outs to get that damn bolt.
I don't have any ill will for my car, just the people who built it.
But for now, I'm going to find a beer and soak my *** in the jacuzzi.:lala:
