Transmission: TH-350

Axle/Gears: 12bolt/4:10

hard time starting

I have a 1988 Iroc-Z camaro. My car has a hard time starting, when it finally starts, white clouds of smoke come out of the exhaust. It smells like unburnt fuel. What should I do?

White smoke normaly means head gasket. If it is a little blueish it could be valve gaskets. It may be running too rich which could be causing the fuel smell.
