Bored - What now?

Well, I'm trying to figure out the next performance mod on the old T/A. I'm thinking of either going to better headers, or a better set of heads. A better set of headers (SLP's?) is going to cost around the same as a cheap set of heads, such as the Vortec/Performer intake combo, but what's going to bring in a more powerful, broader torque curve? - I'm thinking the heads.

Also, I've come across a cheap set of EdelCrock RPM heads + Victor intake, although that might be a little overkill for the rest of the combo, I dunno.

Hopefully if it worked, my mods are in my sig.

Thanks!

Since you already have headers, of a sort, and are divided between headers and heads, I'd go with heads. Better headers really arent going to help all that much, right now what you have is alot better than the stock manifolds.

Yeah... I think I'm going for a set of heads. I have a flowmaster y-pipe collector thing sitting in my closet i can cheaply swap out that 2.25" piece for.

Argh, I couldn't make up my mind whether to drop $550cdn on a complete set of vortecs, now theyre gone. I keep running into deals, like a set of mildly ported camel humps with screw in studs, 2.02 valves, ready to go for peanuts. But no, I decided I was spending no more money on go fast goodies. Who was I kidding? =)

Either way, I don't need I need anything too high buck to make full use of the cam, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Later.
