Does anybody have a desktop dyno or have a guess as to what HP and torque I'm running? I've got a 350, .030 over with this stuff:
vortec heads
Blue Racer cam with 270/280* duration and .450 +/- lift
about 9:1 compression
Edelbrock performer intake and Holley 600VS carb
Comp Cams roller tip rockers

I'll try to find out the exact cr, and I can post the cam card if you need more info.

I'm just curious cuz I got on it for the first time tonight, and DAMN!!! I've been going easy on it for several hundred miles because it's new, and I went to pass somebody on the way home from work. I accidentally let it kick down, and I went from 45 to 70 in the space it took me to pass. You guys that race and stuff will have to excuse me for sounding like a punk, but I'm used to my 4 cyl ranger, and I thought the 305 was strong.

By the way, it isn't in the camaro anymore. It's in a '81 GMC long bed, and I was going down a hill when I did the passing. I chickened out at 4,500 and chirped the tires when I went back to 3rd.

 

348 HP at 5000 RPM and and 391 pounds of torque at 4000 RPM.

Why does kazaa suck, I've gotten probably over 120GB worth of stuff from it, you just gotta know how to use it and the little tricks. Of course being on a T1 helps a lot.

 

ohh you'll see soon. little hackers will find a way to get into your comp. its happened twice to me. on two diff. comps. yeah its nice for all the songs but it will dowload sh#it, like "gator", that records credit card numbers and passwords and sh@t like that. i would get ride of it.

 

Wow, thanks, that's something to look out for, I know they have all those pop up adds and crap, but I mainly use it for videos. I was reading though, that just because you delete something like Kazaa that the spyware is still in your computer. But really if a hacker wanted something like a credit card # there are other ways of finding it out even if you don't use kazaa .

 

348hp! That's more than I expected. I thought 300, maybe. Isn't that a little low for those kind of numbers. I'm not arguing if that's what I've got, though. I forgot the cam specs were in my sig.

On the subject of P2P's, I use Winmx. I tried Morpheus, but I never could figure out how to get it to work good.

 

I was kind of surprised myself but that's what desktop dyno said. I guess it must be a well matched combination ! Run it !!
