Coolant drain from block

Hi guys. I have to drain coolant from my engine block. I know there are two coolant drain plugs at the bottom of the engine. When I get them back on, do I need to use a thread sealer? If so, what type do I need? Thanks.

None needed. Teflon tape not a bad idea, though. Or, sensor-compatible silicone sealer.

For those plugs, standar old PTFE tape or joint compound will work fine - they're tapered pipe plugs. Of course you can use Loctite PST if you don't have the Teflonē tape or paste.
