I'm going to swap in an SLP cam in the future and I'm looking into roller rockers for my '87 LB9. I may also put on new heads, probably S/R Torquer 305's. Can anyone recomend a good set? Also, what are the specs I need? I need self-aligning, centerbolt, 3/8" stud, anything else? I've looked at the crane gold race rockers, but someone on here was saying they didn't like them, and claimed that GM looked into them for the LT4 but decided not to go with them because they needed to last as long as the warranty(I think that's what they said, but don't quote me). Also, the crane gold race rockers say 88-99 or 88-up, but I have an '87. Would they still work? Thanks.

 

I dont have them yet but I'm going with those gold crane rockers. They are the only ones that will fit on the monster headers that I will soon install. 300.00 outch! but its worth it.

 

Crane Gold Race here, no problems after 15k miles. I think I'm going to get them adjusted though.

 

I'm using crane gold 1.6s too. I think they were about $270 from Scoggin Dickie.

 

Anodized Harland Sharp rockers. Full roller and aluminum body. For under $200..... no "ouch" here. lol
