Brass or steel?..which ones! and why?
I've removed my smog pump system today. .Brackets and all ,must be 20lbs. at least. Well been searching the archives and just not sure on what plugs(8 of'em) to use in place of the air manifold holes....anyone?

It really makes no difference, as long as you never plan to remove them, AntiSieze may help on the steel/iron plugs when you go to take them off...brass will come off with no problem without the A-S.
If you had headers, then brass or SS would be better than one's that rust. SS would still require A-S though.

Don't use brass, I have had them soften and pop out from the exhaust heat.
