Too much engine vibration?
Too much engine vibration?
I just rebuilt my engine... (shortblock done by local shop) its now a 335 stroker... My question is, how much engine vibration is normal? heads are WP SR Torquers, Cam is Comp Cam 262, Stock Qjet... I still don't have it tuned that well but it runs... Timing is still off I'm sure... But it seems to vibrate quite a bit... It is kinda cool to a point
but its almost alarming... feels like I'm in a nascar or something... I know my timing mark is off on the damper, so it might have other issues as well... I might just try changing it and see if there is any difference...

what caused you to rebuild the motor ?
I had a similar problem with my car when the FOOL who owned it before me decided to drive it a about 80 with no oil, you guessed it, BOOM, two rods said BYE<BYE. at the same time it tore the torque converter up when the motor went from 3000 to 0 rpm in about 1 sec.
just food for thought !!
