Dyno results for a stock 5.7

Anyone have dyno numbers for a stock 5.7? I had my car on a dyno today and it made 223 hp to the wheels. The shop doing it said this was very strong for a stock 92 motor. Just curious what results others have had.

223? I'm surprised. The 92 5.7 made 245 hp, and from what I understand, thats not rear wheel hp, thats with the engine outta the car. I always thought that there was an average power loss of 15 % when the drivetrain is thrown in. So,

245 - 15% = 208.25 hp

What the hell?

You guy's sound like the dyno guy! . The only mod that was done was just before the dyno run. One of the pipes on my stock exhaust was leaking at the muffler. The dyno shop installed a SLP twin tip stainless muffler and tail pipes off of a stock camaro SS. The only other things not stock are K&N stock type air filters. The car has had Mobil 1 in it since new, and now has 66,340 miles on it. Either I got lucky and GM slipped an extra strong motor in, or the SLP is REALLY performing well! ONE BIG PROBLEM! The car definately has a seat of the pants change in power with the new exhaust, NOW THE PROBLEM, I started having service engine soon warnings and a slight stumble as the car warmed up. When I shut her off at home I heard a gurgling sound from the rear of the car. I took off the gas cap and started the car, HOT HOT AIR! I think the new stainless muffler is transferring too much heat! There is a 2 to 3" space between the tank and the muffler but i am extremely dissapointed, let me see fast car, or BOOM! Any thoughts?
