Auto to manual swap complete now car won't start

I just finished my swap but now my car won't start, the motor won't even turn over. The only electrical connections I have made are the VSS on the back of the tranny. my question is what do i need to wire up to make my reverse lights work and what do i need to connect/disconnect to make my car start? it is a 91 Trans-am.

There's supposed to be a clutch safety switch that performs the same function as the neutral safety switch in an auto trans car. You probably don't have it, or at least, it's not hooked up.

At the base of the steering column there should be a plug with 2 large wires in it, one yellow, one purple. If you have the switch, it will be on the pedal assembly, attached to the clutch pedal; plug that connector into it. If you don't have it, put a jumper wire across those 2. If you do this, the car will start no matter whether it's in gear or not, which can be kind of extremely dangerous. You should get a switch and install it correctly.

The reverse lights are turned on by a switch in the side of the trans, on the driver's side. It should be a plug with a blue and a green wire.

Thanks, now the wires for the reverse lights will be on my auto shifter plug on right? and the wires for my nuetral safety switch will be there regardless of the fact that the car was an auto.
