Newer head compatibility on '86 intake manifold??

I have an '86 IROC TPI with the 5.0L. I'm looking to build a 350 for it and would like to go with an '87 up block and heads. Will the newer heads bolt right up to my intake manifold or will some bolt holes or anything need to be ground out? I do know of someone who came across this problem, but it was on a truck, not a camaro. So are all the TPI manifold bases the same or were they different for those early years?

The TPI bases were different in '85 & '86 vs. '87-later. The center two bolts angle on each side is the issue, and a little elongation of the manifold will allow the bolts to fit the later heads.
