car feels like its pulsating (miss firing, slipping etc.)

I recently installed SLP headers and y-pipe, new shortie plugs and wires. I have everything put back together EXCEPT for the air system. and i have noticed that while driving and accelerating slowly that it doesn't accelerate smoothly at all, ill accelerate and the car will feel like its pulsing, or like im tapping the brake ever couple of seconds. and sometimes when i try and accelerate from a stop, it feels like it wants to die for a second and then starts going. i have a slight exhaust leak that i think is from the header collectors. and the only code i have gotten is 13.. my car is driving like crap and even idles crappy, almost like a missfire.

any suggestions?

Did ya happen to reconnect the MAF sensor? I know that this would do it. Haha... this one time I had taken off the bellows and stuff to get at somthing... dunno what it was anymore and that is of course nothing major, so I put everything back together and forgot to plug the sensor back in. I start going down the road and I get an SES light and this strange stumble?!? It came to me in a dream that night that I had forgotten to reconnect the sensor... weird huh?

well 13 is your o2 sensor, make sure you plug that back in, and if so you might want to change it, if its old, it could of went bad.

ya i remembered the MAF, but i forgot the O2 sensor connector .. haha oh well that problem fixed, i figured the comp would throw a code at all times, not just when driving on the freeway..

i am still having the ocasional jerk when decelerating when it feels like the torque convertor is engaging and disengaging..

oh hey i just read your message again, hey check your wires and make sure that you didn't cross them, cause that could be causing it too, I know me and my buddy did that, the car fired up but ran like crap. And wouldn't you know it, we crossed the wires. So just go over your wires one more time and if there good do the o2 sensor.
