With that MPH shouldnt I be running a LOT faster than that?? I was running on street tires and hosing it during second gear. I was expecting 7's easy. My 60 ft was 2.3? What should I be running with that MPH?
That should give you at WORST a 12.98 S ¼ mile time, and that's IF you don't increase velocity during the second half of the ¼. What's the complaint? Other than the longer 60' times (probably traction issues) the time seems pretty good for a heavier car.

the rpm cam is not really designed for your gears
I would b pretty satisfied with those heads and other parts. Your probably near 400hp.. but you can't use all of it without gears.

The 2.3 60ft is killing you. Last fall I went 7.76 at 94 with a 1.72 60ft. Here's the video www.koolmeister.com/776b.mpg
Unfortunately not much can be done about the price of the 9 bolt gears and posi carriers unless lots of people start buying them. Low volume = higher price Unfortunately it's just Econ 101
On the bright side, atleast ratios up to 4.10 are now available

To hell with gears, that'll just make your traction issues worse. Do some work on the suspension and get you 60' times down to 2.0 on the street tires. LCA's and a LCA relocater would be a good first step.
