Can anyone tell me anything about an Edelbrock c3b intake?

I bought one for $40. I want to use it on my 383 I'm building. Is it any good. I'll probably use this to start off, but I plan on getting something better when cash allows. Thanks

They seem to be a precursor to the Performer. Maybe it's even the same casting with an older name?
