Tiny Oil leak, can this be the cause....

Can a ripped distributor gasket cause this.........
Its a really small leak, like one or two drops of oil per night.
i think it started when i advanced my timing... so i wanna know if it can be the gasket.....

If it's damaged, replace it. A small leak from that area should be evideent if you inspect closely.
