Recently about 500 miles after a head cam swap my car eats oil like its going out of style. Car idles smooth , 0 smoke, but number 4 and 8 plugs look bad. I figure intake but i would think that 2-4 would be bad 6-8. I'm lost. Eats 1/2 quart in 30 miles. I mean 0 smoke and it smells good. It even spits out clean water. it does leak a little from the front main , but 1/2 quart in 30 miles? Weird. Anny suggs. block has 68,000 on it and all the plugs looked good before the swap.

 

Have you driven over 30 miles to see if it keeps doing it? I've got a hunch that it won't.
