Sure you can. the type of rocker really has no effect on needing screw in studs, the seat pressure of the spring does.

Screw in studs are cheap, like $20 from G.M.P.O., the tool to install them is $18 from Jegs and you never have to worry about the studs again. I have had the pressed in studs pull on a stock engine so I don't trust them.
