.......And another kill goes into the book!!
I was out cruising on cherry rd. (goes right in front of my college) and a 2000 alero was playing around in front of me. I sped up and pulled beside him at a red light and didn't really hear them talking or saying anything so I just turned the radio on and chilled until the light turned green. We both took off normally but when we hit about 15 the alero tore *** away. Man those things are quick. Anyway as you can imagine this surprised me a bit. I hadn't really expected him to speed away. On top of that there was a trooper car parked 100ft from the light. Somehow my eye caught the decal and so I didn't haul to catch up to him until realizing that the car was empty
. Anyway to make a long story short I catch up to him and asked If he wanted to run and he said no and that I would kill him. The guy was pretty cool and wasn't by any means a *****. We pulled to another red light and we talked a little. Then the light turns green and he takes off......so then it was on. He put 3 car lengths on me before my stupid, slow brain decided to haul ***. I threw it in first and punched it. First gear-I rode until about 5700 and watched as our doors met up again.Second gear- !!CHIRP!! and bye bye. I had 4 cars lengths on him (not sure what speed but I was winding out at the top of second). He was amazed and we pulled over and talked. He had his car dynoed at a place I know of at 194rwhp and 2** torque (3.4 liter). He said that he had properly broke the car in and had some bolt ons. The car had run a 15.0 in the quarter. I'll email him asking where. Anyway the car was pretty nice and he took me for a ride in it. We talked for 4 HOURS. I just now got back and its like 3:30 in the morning. Well it was a nice kill. I'm not sure why my tranny chirped 2 gear though.....or why I killed him so bad. Well Let me write it down for the books.

You sure you don't mean fwhp? I just checked the oldsmobile sight and aleros are fwd.
