i can remember back when my brother was in high school he was so pissed that my mom bought him a civic. (it was cheap, and trust me i tried to talk her out of it) but i mean he knew what was up. he knew that no matter what he did to that car it would always be a piece of **** and saved his money and now owns a 2002 collectors edition ws6 (one of the sweetest cars ive seen). anyways. now all i see around the local cruising spots are 16 yr olds with a 1:1 ratio of stickers to horsepower. it pisses me off when not 1 but every single one of them revs their coffee cans at me at EVERY light. the first few you smoke are funny but it gets old quick. there needs to be a public service announcement that says rice is not cool. what happend to the days when 16 yr olds wanted 300 hp v8 monsters and not 100 hp bumble bees. i dont know where the world is headed, but id rather die racing a v8 then suffer behind the wheel of a rice burner. sorry for the rant. maybe some others can relate.

the other night i only had to race one lowered crx with neon lights and strobes. the reason noone else revved that night is becuase we raced down past the gas station where all the ricers hang out. i had just filled up my tank and saw about 20-25 people standing around this crx so i walked up to see what the fuss was about. apparently this DUMBASS bought an intercooler and hooked it up to his radiator or something because it adds 100 hp (). now heres the best part, HE DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT HAVE A TURBO. this is the ultimate *****. so after i kicked his *** nobody else wanted any. i might have solved my problem with rice. just have to wait for next year when the next batch of rice babies turns 16. lol

 

Yeah, I know how it is; most ricers I know have no knowledge about cars. They just spout out some buzz words like, NAS, turbo, chip, cold air, and such, with very little idea as to what they mean. But that is one if the dumbest things I have heard, an intercooler with no turbo.

 

twice a week i visit my parents house after night school. i always take the long way home to my apt to try and find races. last week, my brother went bracket racing with my LG4 Z, so his best time was plastered on my window (16.30). i left it on to try to let the imports know im not that fast, but even with this slow quarter mile callout, none of them want to race me. i rarely even take the Vette out anymore, its not needed
