So, yesterday afternoon I pull up to stop at a red light and there's this kid next to me in the new Pontiac.He looks over and sees my big tach and smirks,starts talking to his buddy in the car with him.I turn the music down and hear him talking smack about how these RS's ain't fast and "watch me blow this guy away".
Light turns green and rather than smoke my tires, I let him get the jump as I roll forward at about 10mph.Just as he's about a car length ahead, I nail the throttle and at about 5500 rpm I bang second gear.Pulled right past his sorry *ss.
At the next light, he locks up his brakes to stop, obviously p*ssed,and screams, "what size motor do you got in that thing?
A 305......................just a muffler and a chip.
He then continues his tantrum, "you're full of sh*t, *sshole"
and proceeds to smoke his front tires through the next intersection, almost losing it around the turn.
I then continued on my way to the dentist appointment,smiling even though I know I'm getting a root canal.

nice kill man..my cousin has a 00' Grand Prix GT and he thought it would be enough to beat my IROC. Man that was embarrassing for him when I beat him by a good 20 lengths up to about 100.

ahh i love hearing stories about modded "ReallySlows" beating the crap out of any oncomers.alot of people will underestimate an RS without taking into consideration that it could be built.i cant wait for this summer when my 305 is in the 13's N/A and i beat up guys thinking its a slow stock RS.and then i tell them they just got beat by a 305.ahhh it will be nice....

About the best mod I am doing to my 305 RS is converting it too TPI. Then as I recover form the 500 Bucks spent for that I will begin the headers, Exhaust ect... Right now the thing is passed by slugs.. I swear.

At first I didn't see you beating him, cause I thought you had the 305, those GTPs aren't that slow. But nice kill.

Nice kill, but GTP's can be modded too. I helped a friend do some engine bolt-ons to his 99 GTP and he was able to get a 13.95 @ 98 mph his first time to the track. That was with cheap tires and never being on a track before. I'm sure with time he can get to know his car better and get more out of it. I wouldn't want the car (gas powered ditch finder), but it is alot of fun to drive. There is nothing like pulling up to some rice and burning it while leaving 40ft long black marks in a 4 door family car.

stock RS'S should look out for those concordes too........those things fly. when i had my 92 rs 305 5-speed i raced my uncles concorde and he whooped my ***. i had him at take off, but i shifted to quick and he flew on passed and i could not catch up

good kill, but you should've been honest about your 350.

I love beating an LT1 4th gen or a 350 thirdgen and then having them ask what i have under the hood. they are shocked when i truthfully say a 305.

Great Kill, I like the new Pontiac GTPs, but people should not act so retarted whith their new cars, most of them are governed now and front wheel drive. How can they expect that a 10 year old car is gonna be bone stock? SWEET KILL though smart @ss kid...
