I would be concerned, very concerned about the new Mini-Muscle Cars

I'm really lazy to type it all out, but looking from my Motor Trend 5-year test booklet, the average is 64mph. 3rd gen F-Bodies are way too stiff to pull off big slalom mph's.

Van Platform could have been the RICE F-Body

I am surprised Toyota didn't take their full size van platform from the early to mid-nighties and turn it into a mid engine rear wheel drive car. The look of this vehicle with its space age pod look you either love it or hate it.

The 1994 Toyota Previa van that my wife drives has the lay-down four cylinder motor and the bonus is it has the optional super charger. The way this four cylinder acts with the:hail: supercharger you would think its a V8 motor. The van handles very good since the engine is right in the middle of the vehicle and since the motor is laid down it has a low center of gravity. Its a rear wheel drive vehicle with a solid rear axle very much like that of the thirdgen F-body and it is not like most of the American front wheel drive vans or even all the new front wheel drive Japanese vans.

If Toyota would have stripped this van body off and installed a sport car look kept the supercharger installed, added huge sway bars, stiffer springs, 17 x 8 wheels they would have had a platform that would have been up to the task of being the RICE F-body.

you don´t want a loose ride to pull of nice slolam,

think the stock numbers for my RX-7 are .88-89 on the G and 66.7 on the slolam

but then again we have some small meant vs. you guys
I think those numbers are with either 195-70-14 or 205-60-15

just need to get my susp done and from what I am hearing from a few ppl who race these things should be able to hit more then a G a 225-45-17

Yeah but you need some flex for the slalom so the tires can bite. That's why 4th gen F-bodies do better than the 3rd gens in the slalom, but can't get the stiff-bodied 3rd gens in the skipad. There has to be a certain amount of relief or the back end will keep on trying to slide out in the slalom.
