hello iam new here and i was wondering who would win in a race, my friend and i have had debates over this matter for awhile now and alot of people have given us imput. Frankliy i dont think ill win but iam not gonna tell him that until i have some better advice. All cars are stock and My camaro has about 38k on it, its the low out put lg4 and just a plane jane camaro. I would appreciate advice that would give my car better performance for cheap so i can defintley beat him. We were thinking about going down to the drags and get laughed at by all the real car guys. Well, welcome to the boards, i'm pretty new too. I have the LG4 with some mods (sig), and i think it will be pretty close. I remember somone saying that a new eclipse 4 cyl would run like a 16.9 stock. Sounds like you should be about the same if you're stock. Just my .02, but hopefully someone with some hard facts can help you out. Should be fun. Definately go to the track and post the results.

i have a 100% bone stock 84' Z28 with the LG4/auto combo and my roommate ran a best time of 16.2 at 85mph with a horrible 2.4 60ft time. this was in cold weather and manually shifting the auto trans at 4500rpms. i also removed the A/C belt. so if this Eclipse can only muster a high 16, you should rape him
