My question is how much do u guys think i/or any car would loose in the 1/4 if you take out the spare, the jack, the seats, door panels, ac, etc.... I dont know why i have the urge to ask this but i was just thinking. thanks

I would *guess* a complete gut (everything gone except for drivers seat, steeringwheel, guage cluster and shifter) would make you around 200 pounds lighter. Not sure how much faster you would go.
Ask REVLiMIT ... he gutted his entire rear

thanks for the reply, i figured a couple hundred pounds, and i couldn't remember what do they say every 100lbs is like(hell i dont know, to early/late) in the quarter, for some reason i thought it was 1/10th but i dunno

Hmmm...dono about 200lbs...from all the **** I stripped I probably only shaved like 20lbs off my car O_o. The rear seat looks like 35lbs....passenger seat 30lbs....door panels...1lb haha....so total for the whole interior....probably only like 100 max. If anything slightly over 100. Thats good for about .1-.1.5 off your e/t.

There is no exact weight to time ratio, there are too many factors.
It depends a lot, on you're current weight, power gears, areodynamics, and a few other factors, but the general rule of thumb is .1sec for every 100lbs. you'll just have to go to the track to see what it does for you.

The first time i was at the track i left my subs in and hooked up no problem the second time i took them out and couldnt hook up at all so you need some weight
