ive got this friend whose always talkin sh*t about how his dads crown victoria would kick my cars ***. so he stopped by my house with the ford last week and wanted to race so we set out looking for a racing road and when we found one i pulled up next to him , i tried to load my rpm's for a good launch but got a little to excited and started burning out . right then i took my foot off the break i blew past him and had him by like 2 carlengths till about 60 when we stopped racing .

he says its a 96 with an v8 (probably a 4.6) does anyone know the stock numbers on these?

slow, they're very slow and heavy...

 

well useing autotrader its 190hp@4250rp and 275ftlbs@3250 in a 3780lb car. A tbi rs can beat it.

 

Even the Police Impersonator option only makes about 240 hp, and is pushing so much car that even IT is slow.

 

It's a Crown Vic, not a race car. He is stupid for racing it.

Yeah, I beat the Mercury version (Grand Marquis) in my Taurus. The Taurus has 145hp 165ftlbs. Do i have to say anything else?
