Ok my buddy and I were out just crusin enjoyin our camaros. This last Friday night.
I have an 86 305 with T-Tops Carburated With flowmaster exhaust system. He has an 87 w/305 also carb.

So anyhow we cruise on up to this stop light I'm behind him and there is a Chevy S-10 my guess mid 90's right next to him. So were just mindin our business. Light turns green Wham I watch this S-10's rear end torque like it's powered by a nuclear power plant. So of course my ambitious buddy floors it also and I'm taggin right behind. We were both sadenly left in the dust.


We caught up with him at the next light.
After now realizing this guys tires were almost completely bald from what appeared was from a night of joyriding. I leaned out my window and asked the guy with a grin on his face what the heck he was runnin. He smiled back and simply said a high output six right before he slammed his foot into the gas again.

Well that was the last we saw of him. But I am however curious if anyone has come across this kind of situation before. Or what he may have been runnin on that six?

i bet there was a small block in there. Although ive never heard a s10 with a 350 that didnt sound like a beast wether it looked like it or not. For some reason i always wanted a 350 s10. ill be happy with a 350 camaro for now tho

Whare do you live couse im in ohio and my friend has a S10 with a 305 with bald tires, and this damn thing is very fast with that 305, but its ok ill put him down with my 350 im puttin in my car.

Yeah, it's common for guys to lie about what they got.

a mechanic around where i lives has a crappy early 90s (boxy style) s-10 primer grey ratty interior and he just now put a tailgate on it....and he has a 350 in it i also know it sounds like a normal truck with exaust. he does race it at the local "scene" and he does smoke people with it.

i watched a guy one night with a stock looking blue s10 smoke a modded 5.0 mustang. Everyone knew what was up because the s10 sounded like a beast. The s10 was ratty looking and even had tires in the back. The mustang guy was not happy since around here mustangs rule
