I was actually serious about the metro thing. I know that it would take alot of work to do it, but if you could make it street legal nobody would expect it and you would dominate the streets.

I plan on doing almost the same thing to my camaro when I get one.(thirdgen content) I figure that would be an easy 11 second car on the engine + sc

If you didn't read it here's what both would have

sc 383 with forged internals, 9:1 compression, custom blower/notrous cam; 300 shot nos(just in case); full 3" exhaust; 12 bolt rear; 3.73 posi; 10 inch wide meats; no back seats; and roll bar, or cage for safety.

Sounds like a nice setup. I need to prevent further post whoring. Also if you want to know how fast that combo would go in the 1/4 mile, go to Organized Drag Racing board to get an estimate maybe.
