Guy who did my brother's cage did the same thing, except he used a j y 350. When he tore it apart the heads weren't even the same. He ran a 12 something with it I think for less than $500. I bet he'd beat a 3rd gen.

f-crazy,

Hot Rod Magazine did a story/build up identacle to what you just described about 2 or 3 years ago (I think). They actualy went into a lot of detain on how to do it and everything. I will post it if I find it.

That issue of Hot Rod was the insperation for my future big project. The Metro SS, a Geo metro convertable with a carbed 350 going to a 4 link in the rear with like 3:42 gears. If/when it happens (not for a few years) I will post tons of stuff on it.

lol im glad im not the only one that thinks metros can be made into a quarter pounder, a couple months ago i was at my friends house it was like 1 am and we were just sitting outside talking and we came up with the idea of dropping a small block backed by a muncie 4speed and a 12 bolt in a metro

What about a 460 C6 in a fiesta, or is that festiva? Eh, who cares, it'd be so unbalanced. Hateful thing wouldn't launch right, and that short wheel base would get out of hand pretty quick.
