Me vs a 1990 vette

Me(see sig) vs a black 1990 vette. The vette has a stock 350 TPI, flowmaster muffler(s), and auto tranny. This guy was talking alot of smack about his car being all that(he has Nitrous). When i raced him beforewith my stock TPI setup and stock Monte SS catback exhaust with TES headers(he had no clue i had a TPI!), i was able to take him N/A(1st time) but he got me when he hit the NO2(2nd time). Since then I have done the port work, cam, and the exhaust upgrades? Can i get him even with him spraying?

Looking for opinions.

little more info

During the two runs, I was about a car on him the first time. The second-with the NO2, he had me by about 2 cars at the most. I do better if I am in 2nd cause the tranny tends to short shift since the detent cable for the th350 will not reach the throttlebody. I can't remember if i short shifted against him that night or not.

As for more NO2, if he does, it probably would not be too smart with a stock bottom end.

I am currently rebuilding my 8.5 rear end and upgrading the control arms(adjustable uppers, tubular lowers, LCA relocator brackets) for more traction capabilities. Those low 60' times should heelp out.

He should get the traction better, and if he sprays you again...just be ready. You know he will.....
