Tonight I raced a 94 Buick Century 3.1 with my 5.0 1987 IROC-Z with a 305 TPI and 700R4. Bone stock. His car is stock too. We raced from about 5-70 MPH, and he was right beside me the whole time. What is going on here?

 

Either someone stole 2 of ur plugs, or u just have a really ****ty running engine....

I would seriously not post that if it happened to me. That's just sad. Maybe you need to perform a tune up and check your timing and such.

Not sure but I think you might have been able to get a supercharged buick century. A friend of mines mom had a supercharged buick something and it did alright, probably a 16 flat in the 1/4? just a guess. Or else he might have NAWS!!!!
J/K, but if its not supercharged you should have destroyed it.

Sorry guys-- I couldn't help it. Anyway, IMO your vehicle may be in need of TLC. Just a tuneup. Also need to know what kind of rear gears do you have? If your car is equipped with the highway gears (2.73:1 ratio), the gears are preventing the car from accelerating within its power band.
