Death to all 4cyl S10's!
Ok in my town if you don't want to get a fwd import or domestic compact you get a 2wd s10 and rice it out. Usually they are 4cyls with 5spds but a few are 4.3's. Any way they think they are badazz fast and all this so last night i got one to line up against me. I figure to be fair i won't try any kind of launch technique or anything just spin the one bald tire until it gets traction and go. So i do exactly that and actually accel past this loser beating the crap out of his 4 hampsters, and then i get traction and just run away. It was sad. Some of these guys actually asked me why i didn't get an S10 instead, well thats my reason, so bite me.

I have a buddy with a 4.3 in a Sonoma. That truck must weigh about 2500 pounds (regular cab short box) and that motor is way too much. In rain you can't keep the rear end behind you. That little truck can move. I would seriously say it is faster than an LO3 thirdgen but I don't know for sure (It's going to have serious traction issues).
Hey Kag, you find a thirdgen yet?
