Certain amount of respect for some imoprts...

I used to live in L. A. for 19 years, so I know the import scene pretty well. I live in OKC now, and the scene is a lot different. More domestics by far. Now I all know we have all seen POS imports. (ricers) But I do have respect for a certain amount of imports. I believe if you know your enemy, it will be easier to beat, than just being unknowing and stomping the pedal. For example, lets say your car does low 14's...you pull up next to a mitsu GSX. you can see a super AFC, and a little lit up box on his steering column. But to most people that know nothing about imports, and just hate them, this is just another one. Little do they know, this GSX is packing all-wheel drive and turbo. The point is, dont hate so much as learn from what you see...

It's not imports that are hated, it's the whole "*****" attitude and the "fast and the Furious" genre that is NOW the import scene that most people can't stand.

Alot of people talk trash about imports and stuff, but when they get toasted by a 13 second, 12 second civic, it hurts.

But at least that civic driver did something right, they made themselves a fast car.

That is an avataar, he is using it.

Anyways, The theory I go by is that anything that runs 14's and below is fast, and thing that runs above 14's is slow, my car is on the verge of being slow LOL

Rice's defition is: One who buys a 2K body kit, spend 500 bucks on decals and stickers, spends 400 bucks on gauges & neon lights, under car lights, and ONLY has and exaust or intake done to the car or something of the sort. In other words, all show and no go. Throw in a retarded ***** boy who has a Van Diesel as a rle model and were good.

That my friend is rice, not all rice is slow though, there are actually some that back the stickers up, I have yet to see one around here though.

This thread has little to do with a staged race and is closed to prevent a domestic vs. flame war that I have seen wayyyy to many times.
