I was coming home from work today and I could see some rice weaving through traffic to catch up to me. It looked like an Acura. I got in the right lane and slowed down to around 60-65mph. He finally gets clear and here he comes. He was probably doing 75-80 to get up to me. I figured he would slow when he caught up. I keep looking in my mirror and he doesn't seem to be slowing. He is actually speeding up. He runs right up my but and swerves to miss me as he goes around at about an inch or two. To be honest I braced my self for the collision. I hear this stupid bastards turbo and blow off valve as he passes me. The back of the car had some GSX something on it. I got so pissed that I threw it down a gear and gave chase. I wanted to catch him to drag him from his car and beat him from within an inch of his life. Well he keeps in it, as do I. I caught him at a bout 110 or so. As I go to pass he swerves into my lane and runs me into the grass on the median. I regained control and gave chase again. He was well infront by now and never slowed. There are cops on this road so I don't chase at 130. Up the road there is a stop light and lucily it was red. I pull up behind him just as it turned green. He weaves through the two cars infront of us and hits it. I ran him down in an instance. He tries the swerve at me thing again but I had already passed. I got infront and hit the brakes. He took a hard right on to a nother Interstate and was gone. What is wrong with these people? I guess they have no regard for others. *** forbid you have a fair, friendly race. This guy need a serious a$$ kicking. I hope I run into him again soon.

I have to agree. While I hate the behaviour I'll hate it no matter who's doing it, or what they're driving. You should've just ignored him. Who knows what crap he could be high on.
If the road had been barren with not another sole to run against I might have given chace enough to catch the license plate, but otherwise in heavy traffic I'd have given up. Next time just catch the plates and call them in, along what direction he's going on whatever road it happens to be. Maybe you'll be lucky and a cop'll conveniently be around to watch for him specifically.

Johnboy: First off there were no other drivers in front of us. After he ran me off the road I didn't chase him till after the next light. More than two miles away. I guess I lost my cool. I was so angry I just wanted to get him. I guess I did't care any more. That was pretty dumb.
Fruityone: The road was barren. I was about a hundred yards in front of every one when he passed me the first time. The light was more than two miles a way with no one in front of us for at least a mile. The whole thing went over five miles. I didn't even think to get the liscence number. I will next time. I couldn't really tell you what kind of car it was exactly.

Yeah I hate people like that. That is the reason I keep my "rice beater" in my car (a.k.a. Easton Redline Aluminum baseball bat). BTW, that was an Eclipse that was being an ahole.

j/k Bring mace or pepper spray in your car. Then if you pull up to an *** that's tried to kill you, shoot it thru his window and take off!

I think any blunt object could cause seriouse damage!! I have a knife. It is only about 8" long, but I htink it would work great at a close distance. Since I am over 21, I am starting to look for a good gun!! I think a good 44 would do the trick!
lol, I keep a small wooden San Fran giants bat, a glove, a 7 iron, and a golf ball in my car. In cali, if a cop pulls you over with just a bat, then they start asking questions. If you have at a minimum a glove and a bat, then you can get off. Seems different here in OKC. People have damn guns hanging in their car...lol sad sad sad. Also...I have a 40 Oz. cup of my magical mix...it sticks to windows and paint pretty bad...even at 60 MPH.

Just be careful man, we were cruising around in my buddy's Bonneville (a 91 with the 3800) and some guys were screwing around and shining their brights at us and whatnot, and so as they are in a lane next to us, my friend flies by and flips them off. This gets them pissed and they chase us all the way from Vandalia (where the Trans Am Nationals are held) to Huber Heights (which borders it; my home town). We tried to lose them but we just couldn't.... it was actually kind of fun trying to get away. (He had a late 90s Grand Prix) but we got stuck behind some traffic and before I knew what happened, I got punched in the face and was getting blood from my nose all over the place. I'm sure it came very close to breaking my nose. I wish I would have had time to react, at least roll the windows up or SOMETHING... this was a couple months ago. I'm just glad that's all they did, instead of having some kind of weapon or punching the driver. They tried to get him but didn't get to it in time.
Here in NC you can have a loaded fire arm on you or in your car as long as it is exposed. I take full advantage of this law. I bought my wife a snub nose Taurus .357 seven shot that I usually have handy. Fight fire with fire.

OH yea, well I'm not allowed to were long sleeve shirts anymore because the cops tell me I would be concealing a deadly weapon if I did
. But I don't need anything in my car, I just have me, and if a bunch of guys jump me well I have a cell phone with a lot of guys that owe me a lot of favors and would be glad to help.

What you should have done was got on the cell phone, called 911 (in WI a 911 call from a cell goes directly to the sherifs) and reported him as a drunk driver (irratic driving, exesive speed, endagerment) he would have had cops on his a$$ real quick. And even if he turns out to be sober its still gonna mess up his day, and he'll probably get a ticket for something.

I would of tried to remember his license plate then call it in instead of chasing someone, who obviously doesn't have any fear of crashing, down the interstate.

I've ran people down on a number of occassions planning on beating most of the life out of them. By the time I caught them though...]
a) I had cooled down a little realizing that ultimately...I don't want to hurt anyone
b) They were scared out of their wits at the 4000 lb monster bearing down on them
c) They were terrified at how mad this pursuer could be because they now realize how wrong they were
and (d) When they see me, they usually back down even if the other 3 things had not occured.
That's not bragging. Being extremely angry, and for a good reason, and not being afraid of fighting for it...scares the wrong kind of people. Doesn't matter how tough you are. Or how big. I weigh 260 tho.
Definitely start taking down plates of people like him though. Keep a little notebook in your car. I have my car set up like an office sometimes. And keep a cell phone handy. I assume most of you have those. Just don't talk and drive please.
