I wanted to know because my friend says he could kick a GTA350's *** i wanted to know because the GTA im refering to has the ram air hood, and intake conversion, edelebrock headers, and a flowmaster 3 inch kat back along with 3:43 gears (not posi)
and a trans shift imporver kit all this eclipse has is a blow off valve, and a whole exaust system just askin if anyof you know about who would win in the 1/4 mile not top end, and what else you guys have seen a GTA 350 beat :lala:

If the Eclipse doesn't have any turbo mods then I'd say the GTA, oh and those are 3:42 or 3:45(?not sure if they make 3:45.) gears, not 3:43.

GTA's tend to run mid-high 14's even with G92. What do those cars run??

how about the GTA 350 with a ram air kit with the L98 with preformance plugs, wires, headers, and katback verses the LS1 ram air trans-am with no mods how close would it be if they were both automatic

Not giving the turbo eclipse much credit

I agree that the GTA would definitely win, however, I've got a friend with a '98 Eagle Talon turbo (basically the same car) and I have to say: it impressed me! He does have all-wheel drive and I think that that makes a BIG difference. However, the fact remains that if I was going to get a "mid-priced" import, I think that I'd look for one of these turbo four-cylinder Eclipses or Talons long before I'd lower myself to picking up a Civic or other such garbage.

A guy i used to work with had a 94 GST eclipse. He had no mods but he was a very good driver. He said he ran high 14's all day long at the track.

Viper doesn't stand a chance if the Xr5 has the rare Vulcan DOHC 3.0 motor..
