PS: The groan at the end of the 0-80 run is from my friend straightening back out after I twisted his back funny on the 1-2 shift He had to get out and walk around afterwards to stretch.

Neat.. What's done to it and what does it run?

My friend has a 240 that runs 10.2's and drives it daily on regular pump gas =)..

'96-97 crate motor, pre-'87 heads, hot (230/236) cam, and TPI intake. I'd prefer another intake, but the I've found the TPI EXTREMELY driveable.

I haven't run it at the track with *this* engine. When people ask, I normally just say "Oh, I ran a 14.2 " and watch their reaction. It's more fun that way. I'm hoping for mid-11's out of this engine with tuning.

Well, I don't know if I want my car to sound like that, but I must admit, it does sound evil. I can imagine what kind of talk there would be in these parts about you car...

"Ah thank ah cin take'eem in Daddy's truck, so'm's wrong with that damn car...it ain't ahdlin' raht..."
Trust me, ah, I mean, I live here.

www.divx.com You need divx codec/player 5.0.2 or whatever the newest one is. It's a free download.
