live and learn.. goodbye
whelp,
I did some stupid stuff. i am very lucky that i am getting my Firebird back period, so i can get the 5000 dollar audio system out before its sold.
I just wanted to tell everyone here, good luck with your 3rd gen's, i will one day get a 3rdgen drag car, but for street use, i won't be owning one.
I will probably be getting a nice Neon or something... oh well.

nope... nothing to do with outrunning the cops.
i got mixed up with the wrong group of people who i thought were "friends", and throwing bricks throw windows and stealing isn't part of who i am, but i did it anyways.
oh, and i am not getting a neon now.. i picked up my car today, and i am going to be spending this after noon ripping the audio system out (which they smashed my CD deck.. $300 dollars) and neon/strobe lights, and it will be put in a blue 4 door '88 buick parkave.
i plan on having another 3rd gen street car, but for the next 2+ years i won't.

No, I don't hink he got arrested. What it sounds like is they trashed his Firebird to the point he can't afford to fix it. Sorry to hear about the loss but like it was said earlier, see ya later not goodby.

reason for selling my bird, i did run through a ditch and side swipped a sign, all about $2,000 in damages.

I'm confused as to what happened... it sounds like you stole something (what?) but then it sounds like you wrecked you bird.
anyways its good to hear you are getting back on the right track, ditch those "friends" as you called them.
:nono:

Well, we all make mistakes but that's life. You learn from your mistakes and in the end it makes you a better person. At least your man enough to face the demons you created and that my friend is going to make you a stronger, wiser, man. Good luck and we'll see you in a few years.

Why you saying goodbye? Just because you're selling the bird doesn't mean you have to leave, look at some of the members here, some are mustang owners, a few import owners, and a few tools that SHOULDN'T be driving thirdgens :sillylol:
Hang around man, don't leave...

Dude that's no reason to leave!
I sold my thirdgen about a year ago, and I thought I'd never drive in one again.. Then a few months ago, my best friend bought a shiny 92 formula 350 and I'm glad I stayed on the board..

Yeah man take those neon/strobe lights and put them in an integra or civic or somthing. After that you can get a fart can and wing and really fit in.

My observation, Fly351, is that you've got some pretty good friends right here in this thread...enough to stick around here...but that's just my opinion.
Good luck, we ALL make plenty of mistakes and that's just life, you become a man when you change for the better. Sounds like you're a man.
