Anyone up for cecil county drag strip 11/8 or 11/15

I just got my new cat back exhaust on, flowmaster rear Y pipe and monza muffler eliminators. I might go down this friday the 8th. I know there are a few people on this board that go to cecil. I know we might have a few third gens, C4 vettes and some turbo/nitrous/supercharged imports going down the 15th. I want to see what my exhaust does for me then port/siamese the plenum and top part of the runners and install a cat and front Y pipe for the 15th. If anyone is going down these days let me know, I am usually one of the only C4's down there, my brother TPIVETTE89 will be down the 15th as well.

This would be better on the Mid Atlantic board.

Tuned Port, its going to be on the 15th. ive already got quite a few cars going from DE, anyone from here interested? ill be making my first attempt to break 12s in the Vette. ive also got a few mid-low 13 sec Hondas going down (who all claim to be in the 12s )... who wants to help me put the rice crowd in its place?

This would be better on the Mid Atlantic board
yeah, but no one ever visits there. i put stuff like this up all the time and almost no one responds. i dont think many people who post here frequent the regional boards. just wondering if anyone from here was interested in going who dont post over there

I understand, our board isnt' that close of a community like other boards, personally I think it's too strict as to what can be posted.

Must be nice to race in November.

I hate you Yankees and your lack of the white flakes from hell!

MDFormula - Yeah, you're car is slow

Don't you pull 14s? Granted, it's nothing overly special, but it's still a very respectable time. Besides, half the reason of going to the track is to socialize/watch other cars.

I plan on going if I get off work, and I do frequent the MA boards. I also agree that it is too strict...as a mod on another site, I let tangents slide...our mod does not.

what part of DE are you guys in? I might be up for the 15th provided i can get off of work. I should have the intake and carb installed and sorted out by then. I too will be making my first attempt at 12's don't think it's gonna happen though, not enough traction...

were from the hockessin/pike creek area. its in northern DE, in case youre not from that part. it would be cool to see you down there, and maybe if you live close we could go crusing sometime

sorry man but i am slow and dont race that much at all...
the way the weather is now, thats a mod in itself. Cecil is also a very good track. i wouldnt doubt youd run better at Cecil County

I too will be making my first attempt at 12's don't think it's gonna happen though, not enough traction...
Cecil preps the track pretty good, and unless youre running bald street tires, you shouldnt have problems hooking. the track is sticky enough that i could run 1.94 60fts on stock tires in my Vette. now that i have DRs, ive gotten into the 1.87 range

come on guys! i need help takin down the imports! theres a Civic SI thats running some crazy setup that i dont think i can handle!

i'm from the Dover area, but i'm up at U of D visiting friends quite often. i've been to cecil quite a few times, i know it bites pretty good, but anything short of a miracle isn't gonna be enough. my posi is on it's last leg and i'm on hard, short sidewall GSC's. This is all with a motor making somewhere around 420-430 ftlbs of torque at the crank.

i talked to a couple buddies of mine, and they are all up for it, so if i can get off work, we'll definately be there.

That would be pretty cool if we could get some 3rd gens down there, zupmanZ28, your car sounds pretty sweet. Hope to see you at the track!
