Recently I just put in a new crate 350 from chevrolet and I was wondering how it would do. I got the first test the other day however I need to tell you the circumstances first. I had the old TBI unit from the 305 on still (which was hurting me pretty good), and 2.73 gears. I pulled out on to the main street and a new 02 GT pulled up beside me and slowed down. We we're going about 30 or so when we took off. I thought they had a little more power than what he showed. I stayed right with him till about 70 then I started walking away. After I got about 2 car lengths on him I let off. I was a bit surprised. I was expecting him to do much better than that. Oh well I guess that goes to show...CHEVY RULES!!!Maybe I had him confused with the 03 cobra.

the newer GT's arent too insanely fast. i think they're in the mid-low 14's....good race none the less.

 

The new GTs are usually low 14 second to high 13 second cars, but with bad drivers you never know! All I know is that in the top end they are not real stars, but with traps right at 100, they are pretty quick!

Yeah, I like having a RS because it's usually way underrated and everyone thinks they are gonna run all over you. Gives me incentive to keep spending money.
