just a little warning. if you are around michigan, indiana, ohio you should watch out for some Grand Prix GT's. they have been getting pretty fast for a FWD V6. My friend is one of them, second in the nation for the fastest GT. Just last weekend he ran a 14.41 @ 96.xx on street tires. The fastest GT is from Ohio, his best time was 14.3xx although it was on DR's. There are also a couple others around Michigan running mid 14's. next racing season i bet anything that there are two GT's in the 13's. these are not GTP's, they are not supercharged, turbo, or nitrous. It just blows my mind that a grand prix can run those numbers. there is a GTP that runs 11.78's, i have seen it do that on a track. I think these cars will take down some camaros, and even some of the weaker L98's. I cant wait to race my friend when i finish my car. My friends GT will be at Third Gen nats if i can get my car done.

My friend has a 97 Nissan Maxima with the 3.0 Six Popper, Valve Body UpGrade, Crank Pulley, CAI, Exhaust and a shot of Nitrous courtesy of Nitrous Xpress (NX). He is running a 13.1 on Slicks and he still chirps the SLICKS!!! he is hoping to go low 12's high 11's, sooo many Mustangs and LS1's have gone down that now only people that have bad *** race cars pick on him...AARON

 

They are pretty qucik for some family sedans.......

 

Those Gt's must be modded well. My friends GT went 15.2 with CAI, and rockers.


My friends GTP went 14.8 stock. Modded with exhaust, CAI, and smaller pulley his best is a 14.3 with a 2.2 60 ft.

 

yeah, they have some more mods. my friends has CAI, roller rockers, borla exhaust(but stock manifolds), stage 2 TB, custom chip with new shift points, and pullys. next season though he is getting a TC, intake extension, and maybe gears. should give him enough to very high 13's.
