Think I can take a stock 5.0 yet?!?

All my mods are in my sig. Everything is brand spankin new from the carb, engine, to the exhaust. Right now I still have the 2.73 and peg leg which is killing me...I can be rolling at 30 and hit it and spin through the rest of first....

I havent raced a mustang yet but I held a lt1 TA pretty good. I stayed at his back fender he was pulling alittle but then I ran outta gas

I'm still wonderin how you kept up with the LT1, with your mods, I'd put you at mid 14s at best.

A stock 5.0 5 spd can hit mid 14s.

I know a guy with a 91 GT with a AOD, 3.73s, and offroad h pipe...i think I can take him..i wanna try anyways. The car usually has a 9psi paxton on it so i need to race him before he gets it back on the car.

Race an AOD. A 5-speed car should be mid 14s, whereas an AOD should be in the low 15s, stock. With some mods, both are 14 second cars, with the 5-speed heading into the 13s!
