Its a 1.8T just to let you know. There is also a TT version but I've waxed those on the freeway when I had the 92 B4C. Not much to worry about. Those 1.8T setups are underpowered!! Here's specs:

Turbocharged DOHC in-line 1.8 liter 4-cylinder
5 valves per cylinder and hydraulic lifters
Displacement: 1.8 liters (109 cu. in.)
Bore: 3.18 in.
Stroke: 3.40 in.
Compression ratio: 9.3:1
Horsepower (SAE net): 170 @ 5900 rpm
Torque: 166 lb/ft @ 1950-5000 rpm

The TT version ups the HP to 225.

Mmmm, you might want to reconsider what you're saying.

Trust me, nobody's going to advocate sensible speeding like I am. Hell, I wanted to move to Montana, during their period of no specific highway speed limits.

BUT, there's been a few deaths on the boards lately, most involving speeders.
Also, there's been a lot of tension about punks doing stupid stuff, getting pulled over, and pointing the attention of Johnny LawMAKER toward the car-guys. If certain people get their way, it will soon be illegal to SAY the words "Street Racing."

You totally stirred up a hornet's nest.

"Any day is a good day to die in an F-Body."??????

What about everyone else, you ***-less selfish childish piece of trash??????

You ever think that maybe the car you cause to wreck may have a child in it? An infant? Maybe a woman? Even so much as a good man?

You are sick alright. But it's not like it isn't something you can help. You are just a babied little rich pig who always gets his way no matter the cost. It will end.

Nor would any of us want to meet someone with your intelligence outside of a fast food restaurant.

Unfortunately it's people like you who give street racing of any magnitude a bad name. Not all of us think that an F-body is worth dying for. In your case where you and your car probably share the same birthday, maybe you could celebrate by getting arrested. It would do the rest of us a favor and since you live in Texas your death wish may come true.

If any words were too big for you to understand such as "live" or "who" please don't hesitate [look that up to] to ask your cousin. Do not consult any form of printed information. Not that you'd own any that weren't supporting your home. Maybe you could get lucky with your cousin afterwards.

There is a fine line between being crazy and being stupid. By the way you're talking you sound stupid. A crazy person would go 150 on the freeway when there is no traffic. Endangering your own life is your call. A stupid person would go 150 in traffic. Endangering the lives of innocent people is stupid. The freeway is there for people to commute. People dont expect other cars to fly by doing 100 mph. Racing the freeway is not a controlled environment, its an unknown. People change lanes without signaling or looking. Our cars are heavy and dont stop fast from high speeds. Think about what you are doing instead of just mashing the gas. They make tracks for people to race. Real racers use the track. Wanna-be's stay on the streets. In my state driving on the streets is described as a privilege. You dont have the right to drive a car on the street. If you do something stupid and dangereous you can and will loose the privilege of driving. You are the kind of person the police are trying to prevent from driving on the streets. For the sake of others, I hope they succeed.

But you are right. There is nothing we can do. We can only hope you dont hurt anyone else besides yourself. Have fun.

What these two men have said is true, child. You're not a man and you're not brave or strong. You're calling me weak? Listen, you little spoiled weakling, the only reason you do the things you do is because you don't believe anything bad will ever happen to you. Because nothing has.
You are obviously a sheltered, spoiled, little rich kid who needs mental help. You'll go through your life not giving a **** for anyone but yourself and end up committing suicide because of not getting something that you want-finally. I know your type, loser. You drive carelessly because you believe YOU will not be hurt. What you don't care about is everyone else. Don't pretend you are not afraid to die. You are terrified of it. You just haven't been as close to it as some of us have. When you do get that close, you will cry, and beg, and pray for help. But then it will be too late. Your eternity awaits.

You drink excessively and smoke marijuana, don't you? That may explain part of your numbness.

So...has anyone here cut their catalytic converters off? Notice any significant change? I'm about to cut them off of my Crown Victoria. My cousin cut his off of his 87 Cutlass and noticed plenty of change. Of course, his were clogged severely.

you wont notice anything. I promise. If you are N/A you will lose torque. Its really not worth it.

No, everything else is staying. Mufflers...the rest of the pipe...I'm mainly pulling them off because of the fear of them being clogged. We all know what that can do. I agree running straight manifolds or even running the cat and nothing else can cause you to lose torque. It hurt the Topaz badly when the exhaust from the end of the cat all the way back...fell off. It has to be run alot harder now. I've got to fix that.
