hey guys i was all pumped up to race this kid and everything, so this afternoon i was under the hood just cleaning stuff up, and making everything look neat, go to start up, turns over, doesnt start kicken.....okay so i went back under the hood just to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be, try again, turns over, but still no heart beat.....so, i got it towed to the shop i work at, and hopefully everything will be all in order by tomarow, but i said to my self, i may as well just replace all the gaskets, and mounts because all those are shot on my car, so im losin fluid farily well, so, ill make sure it gets a good tune up before i race this kid....sorry to let you guys down

 

I told you not to fiddle with the darn motor before you race.

Did you try to degreae the motor or something??? If you did, then your distributor probably got a little wet and you just need to let it dry. I bet she cranks right up in the mornin'.

What kind of fluid are you losing???

 

oil, gear, and a lil bit of trans fluid, and no i didnt spray, i spray the rags, then wipe, but the cars got some sort of a ignition problem, because if you give it enough gas to idle while driving, the tach twitches, and the car feels like its not firing correctly. and its did this BEFORE i changed the wires, plugs, rotor, and cap, but they will put it on the computer tomarow and fix anything that needs it

heh no its going to be worked on this sunday, so hopefully he will make another date this up comming week ill keep ya posted guys (oh and after everythings fixed ill handle his *** even more since the friggen thing will be running right and thanx for the tip about the tire preasure, my tires squeal, but they catch very quickly and i just jump forward

nah hes saying im scared to race him, i mean i was at first but i realised if he ups his boost to "kill me" like he said he would, his fuel ratio will stay the same making his *** run too rich, so once he ups it, its not gunna run all that better but, either way, once its fixed, IM calling HIM out this time if he still wants to go after im done, ill be sure to let you all know the turn outs, hes still not done any homework about my car, hes bragging that he has about 220 ft/lbs of tourque???? at 2 something HP stock? sh-t my car comes with 230hp at 4400 rpm's with a nice 330ft/lbs of tourque STOCK thats NOT including the mods done to it already....i have more confidence in myself now since i remembered how good my reaction time for street lights is, and how i drive it, i manualy shift the auto, i start in 1st, then at about 4000 or 4200 i bump it up to 2nd, do the same, bump it up to 3rd, and just hold on till i get enough on him to throw my hazards on :rockon:

 

you will definetely hand him his azs on a silver platter with a serving of shut the hell up on the side.hes the type of guy that the real import guys resent.talking shiz without knowing a damn thing.and hes not even all that fast!!oh yeah.if he does up his boost to "kill you",then he wont be running too rich,he will be running too lean.these cars dont compensate for extra boost.he will get lots of knock,the timing will get retarded,he will lose ALOT of power,and you will win by that much more!!Call his azs out!!

 

well steve first ur car is stock with 225hp at 4400 rpms and then the 330 lbs tq.

but also Dans eclipes isnt so much bone stock. He's got an HKS full exuast system, an HKS bov, a Greddy maunle boost conrtoller, and i think thats all the mods he's done so far. so right now it will be really on RT and drivers skill. becuz he might have as much HP or less or more, i dont know what the GST came with stock but also remember if he has as much power as ur car , he's also liter then ur gta. so then again its to the power to weight ratio. it might be a close race or a drivers race, who knows , u will have to race asapr (as soon as pumps replaced )

 

suprisingly, this race will ONLY be determined once we get it on, because i get people saying hes going to kill me, people who say im going to whip his ***, and others who say its a drivers race, im done with the questions, come later this week, im going to get it over with i dont care if i lose, or win, i just want to know if i can take on a GST, and since the car will be running right, ill probably stand a way better chance than if i had raced him the night the pump went :lala:

 

I remember you saying that he ran a 15.1 best.Was that stock,or with his current mods?Im hoping thats stock,or else he has something seriously wrong with his car I would think.An exhaust and MBC set to around 13-15 pounds would get him high 14's atleast I would think,even though it is an auto.Then again,I could be wrong.Anyways,back on the point.Shouldnt you be running ATLEAST low 14's?You do have a GTA dont you??And dont you have mods done?You should beat him by his 1/4 time alone.:lala:

right now steve's car (hndsm17) has had several different engines. first it was a 350, then a 305, then a 350, we dontk now if the thing is still tuned to a 305 or its inbetween.

 

Is the car fixed yet or what??? You see the kid around lately??

 

the car is kinda fixed. like they replaced the pump and few other things and well now the car doesnt start and i think he sorted out the distributor becuz he was ****ing around with some loose wire and this tab on the distributor so he probably sorted something out. becuz he gets spark, but when u go to start the car it will just crank and almost kick over but then when u let go of the key it will just kinda slowly die off again.

 

So what's the status of this race? Figure out what is wrong? Already raced?

 

Nope no race yet, Steve just got the car runnin today (afternoon). turns out what was holdin it back from startin was a fuse but it was also the fuelpump went too.

but now the race is goin to be delayed a bit longer becuz im talkin to the kid with the GST and his turbo on his car blew/siezed up and doesnt do anything now. so he has on order right now a T3 HKS turbo with the front mount for his car right now.

after steve got his runnin the kids GST breaks, dammit i wanna record this video.

 

hmm well its my guess that steve will be screwed after this kid gets his turbo and FMIC on.as long as he knows how to tune it.by the sounds of it he doesnt seem to know much,but i dont know him myself so that could be false.if he doesnt do anything else to it besides the turbo and FMIC,then i think steve will win and the kid will blow up his motor immediately after.just dont tell him he needs injectors and a fuel pump

 

steve my twin cousin is just like me. You know the saying "if it isn't broken don't fix it"??? well we say is if workin fine then make it work better. This usually blows up in our face( like the firewrok we made and try to set off and blew my face and hand up). Its part of our genes to f*** up, its more like a tradition.
