Ok, as the title suggests, everyone must be sick of people asking these questions, but what do you think I would run in the 1/4 mile with the mods in my sig? Oh yeah, its a 700R4, and it's got a K&N filter(but thats almost a given).

 

is she a 305 or 350? with a 305 you would probably be running mid 14's if you hook em right, 350 probably high 13's

I'd say 15s!

 

if its a 305 tpi i most likely will say low 15s...

 

well if its a five speed tpi in decent tune i would for sure say mid 14's with decent traction

Do you guys read? 700r4 is not a 5 speed. With your suspension mods you should be able to pull some good 60 foot times if you've got decent tires. If the car is in good tune, maybe mid 14s. Stock heads, cam, and torque converter could all use upgrades if you really want to go fast. Best "mod" would be a new block with larger bores, though

 

I'd say mid - hi 14's.

 

If your motor's running strong, I'd say high 14's.

What part of FLA you from?

 

Venice, just south of Sarasota (on the West coast).

 

A 305tpi(other than '86) with a 700r4 and a 3.23 or 3.27 gear, should run low 15's/high 14's with a good launch if the car is in decent tune.

My 100,000 mile '85 305tpi/700r4/3.27 trans am ran high 14's @ 92-94mph with only a catback exhaust and some free mods.
